Fourth grade is hard at work on their cardboard arcade games. Each student submitted a plan and will have two weeks to build their prototype. Fifth grade is hard at work assembling their robot. Hopefully soon we will be programming them soon.

After we finished learning all of the characteristics that Jim Henson displayed, second grade wrote a story and created an Original Puppet Pal video. There was lots of creativity involved. Enjoy their shows. For the past two weeks, my first, second and third graders explored Jim Henson to identify the characteristics of this Powerful Person. We discussed how how Muppets came to be and how television has changed over time. First grade used Puppet Pals to tell a joke. Please enjoy the first grade jokes that are complete. Some will put the finishing touches on them next week. Keep in mind that the students did this all by themselves and we will work on audio before the next project. Fourth grade is busy working on their PSP, Cardboard Arcade. We surveyed 89 people and used those results to make decisions. Some students decided to stick with their original game and others decided on a new idea. We made the decision to take Pac Man off since we were unsure how we could do it justice. As a group we decided to add a description to each choice in our survey. I sent each parent a new link to take 4th grade Survey Version 2.0. Please share the link with anyone that might be interested.
